We Are Building Blessings
If you come to Mount Carmel this Fall you will see a great deal of construction under way. The program center which will repalce Miller Chapel, will begin to arise from its foundation beginning on October 8.
For the many thousands who saw their spiritual lives enriched by the ministry that occurred in Miller Chapel over the past seven decades, the new facility represents a new chapter in the vital work of Mount Carmel.
The Board and leaders of Mount Carmel knew that to more effectively present the message of Jesus Christ, a new building had to be erected. This facility will truly be a multi-purpose facility. For not only will there be a chapel on the main floor, the lower level will provide a dedicated space for ministry to our youth. Since this will be a year round facitlity, we can now accomodate large groups during the cold weather months.
We need your help in two very important ways. Frist of all pray that there will be no setbacks in the construction. For us to meet our goal to use the new building for our summer programs in 2008, the construction goals and timetables will need to be met on schedule.
Our second goal is that when we begin using the building we will have NO DEBT ON THE NEW FACILITY. In order for that to happen, we need your financial support. We believe that God wants us to be good stewards of the resources that He gives us. We would rather put all the gifts that you genereously share with Mount Carmel Ministries into out program and not into interest on a mortgage.
In order for us to not have a mortgage on any facilities at Mount Carmel, we need to raise another $600,000 by June 30, 2008. Will you pray about what you can give to help build this wonderful new place of ministry for many more generations to come?
